The RFID Tag Finder is a tool that aids in efficiently locating tagged items that prove difficult to find. It is part of a suite of applications tailored for ASCII2-compatible, Bluetooth® UHF readers from Technology Solutions (UK) Ltd.

By offering responsive audible feedback and a dynamic graphical signal meter, the RFID Tag Finder facilitates swift scanning of large areas, enabling users to pinpoint the exact asset they are seeking. Alternatively, users can configure the Tag Finder to specifically detect nearby assets, streamlining the search process in environments filled with cages, boxes, and racks. Whether using default settings or custom configurations, users can optimize the Tag Finder according to their asset environment.

The RFID Tag Finder supports tags encoded in various formats such as SGTIN-96, GRAI-96, ASCII, and Hex. Simplifying configuration further, users can scan an RFID tag in the desired format to set up all necessary encoding parameters.

Users have the option to manually enter the target asset identifier or scan it from a barcode. For assets encoded under SGTIN-96, standard identifiers like GTIN-8, GTIN-12 (UPC), GTIN-13, GTIN-14, or the Item Reference number can be used. Similarly, GRAI-96 encoded assets can be identified using GRAI codes or plain asset types.

If Hex or ASCII encoding is chosen, a built-in tag scanning screen generates a list of nearby tags ranked by signal strength, aiding in quickly identifying the target asset during app operation demonstrations or familiarization.
